Marissa and Brandon love board games.  You name it, they’ve probably played it together.  So, when I found this out, I was instantly inspired for their engagement session: board games, Scrabble to be exact.  And a romantic board game is not complete without a picnic!

We decided to go all the way for this engagement session – “hellooo” stylized shoot!  If you aren’t familiar with that term, it basically means that every detail that goes into the session (from the food to the attire) is designed by someone, to keep the look of the shoot within a certain theme or style.  In this case, that someone was me… with help and opinions from Marissa, my mom, and my second shooter Erica.  I think World Market, Ross and Marshall’s probably got tired of seeing me every week looking for the perfect baskets, tables, and linens.  But, I am so thrilled with how the styling turned out!

Every fabulous dessert was made by Pink Flamingo Bakery - they were so pretty and delish!  The lovely vellum circles hanging in the trees are from Serendipitee Design.  Marissa’s outfit: Forever 21    hair clip: Charming Charlie    Brandon’s shirt: Target

I hope you enjoy my favorite shots from our picnic!  It was such a fun day!  Marissa, Brandon, and Maggie (their pup) you were all so awesome for bearing the horrid heat, and you still looked like rock stars.  And Erica, I could not have done this shoot alone, you are fabulous!
